Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) 2026, the flagship student interaction programme of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, is set to return with its 9th edition on Friday, 6th February 2026 at 10:00 AM. Over the years, PPC has emerged as a powerful national platform addressing exam stress, mental well-being, and positive learning attitudes, transforming examinations into an Utsav rather than a source of fear.
First-Ever Multi-Location Nationwide Engagement
A major highlight of Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 is its first-ever multi-location format, marking a significant milestone in the programme’s evolution. Besides the main event in Delhi, interactions were held across four strategically chosen locations—Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu), Raipur (Chhattisgarh), Dev Mogra (Gujarat), and Guwahati (Assam). This nationwide footprint ensured representation from the North, South, East, West, and Central India, reinforcing the inclusive spirit of the initiative.
Live Telecast Across Multiple Platforms
The programme will be telecast live on the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s YouTube channel, Doordarshan (DD), and the Ministry of Education’s social media platforms. In a move to expand digital outreach, PPC 2026 will also be streamed on leading OTT platforms such as WAVES OTT, Amazon Prime Video, Jio, ZEE5, Sony LIV, and Spotify (audio streaming), enabling students and parents to participate seamlessly from across the country.
In line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, Pariksha Pe Charcha focuses on holistic development, confidence building, and emotional well-being of students. The Prime Minister’s philosophy, also reflected in his book “Exam Warriors”, emphasizes self-belief, open dialogue, and ensuring a joyful childhood free from excessive academic pressure. The book’s availability in multiple languages and Braille further strengthens accessibility and inclusivity.
Student-Centric Nationwide Activities
As part of the build-up to PPC 2026, student-centric activities were organised across schools nationwide. These included the Swadeshi Sankalp Daud, a student-led run and walk promoting self-reliance, along with quiz and writing competitions conducted at identified Kendriya Vidyalayas on Parakram Diwas. An impressive 2.26 crore students participated in these engagement initiatives, highlighting the programme’s mass connect.
Unprecedented Participation and Registrations
Over the years, Pariksha Pe Charcha has grown into a nationwide Jan Andolan, witnessing enthusiastic participation from students, parents, and teachers. For its 9th edition, registrations have crossed all previous records, with over 4.50 crore participants registering through the MyGov portal. This overwhelming response reflects the collective commitment of States, Union Territories, and Autonomous Bodies under the Ministry of Education towards nurturing a supportive and stress-free academic ecosystem.
Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 stands as a testament to India’s evolving education landscape, where dialogue, empathy, and positivity take centre stage in shaping the future of learners.
