The event was organized in the presence of Dr. Virendra Kumar, Hon’ble Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. So far, under the NAMASTE scheme:

Profiling of 90,494 Sewer and Septic Tank Workers has been completed.

84,077 workers have been provided with PPE kits.

68,341 workers have been issued Ayushman Cards for health coverage.
Achievements in Goa
In Goa, 252 Sewer and Septic Tank Workers (SSWs) have been validated through profiling. During the Panaji event:

10 SSWs and 10 Waste Pickers were symbolically presented with PPE kits.

10 sanitation workers received Ayushman Cards.

Safety equipment for Emergency Response Sanitation Units (ERSUs) was also distributed.
